Simon

Director

Simon has built and scaled multiple businesses from the ground up. This experience has shaped his approach placing people at the centre, understanding individual needs, and building strong, effective teams that deliver consistently high standards.

He founded Gracewells in 2018 from a desire to combine this commercial experience with a meaningful purpose. Supporting young people who may not have had the stability of a strong family foundation. Under Simon’s leadership, the organisation has grown into a trusted provider, known for its calm, considered approach and commitment to positive outcomes.

Emma

Registered Manager

Emma has worked in residential childcare for over 10 years, starting as a bank staff member before progressing through every role to become a Registered Manager. Her journey reflects a genuine passion for the sector and a commitment to developing her skills and experience over time.

Now leading a two-bed home, Emma has built a strong and stable team, creating a consistent and supportive environment for young people. She is dedicated to providing high-quality, life-changing care.

Georgina

Therapist

Georgina is a highly experienced Integrative Psychotherapist with over a decade of specialist practice in children’s mental health and residential care. She brings a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to supporting young people with complex emotional needs, including anxiety, depression, attachment difficulties, and developmental trauma.

At Gracewells Care, Georgina works closely with residential teams to embed therapeutic thinking into everyday care, creating emotionally safe environments.

Bryn

Registered Manager

With 19 years’ experience supporting young people, Bryn has progressed from Residential Support Worker to Registered Manager.

He has extensive experience working within EBD, LD and HSB settings as well as serving as Head of PE in a specialist provision school, combining strong leadership with a commitment to achieving positive outcomes for young people.

Emmie

Head of Care

Emmie has worked in residential care since 2002, supporting children and young people with learning disabilities and SEBD. She has progressed from a support worker to senior management, holding leadership roles since 2008, including Registered Manager, and overseeing multiple homes since 2017.

A strong and effective leader, Emmie prioritises the safety, wellbeing and progress of young people. She builds positive relationships with staff and professionals, driving high standards and outcomes.

Jamie

Registered Manager

Jamie has worked in residential childcare since 2010. Prior to joining Gracewells, Jamie held leadership roles across a variety of settings, including managing dual two-bed homes, a crisis unit, an eight-bed home, and a four-bed GRIP home.

With extensive experience across complex care settings, Jamie brings a strong focus on stability, safety, and positive outcomes, ensuring that every young person receives consistent, high-quality support tailored to their individual needs.

Head of IT

Steve manages all IT and systems at Gracewells Care, overseeing the technology, operational platforms, and digital infrastructure that keep the business running efficiently. From ensuring secure and reliable systems across our homes to implementing technical solutions that support staff and management.

Steve plays a vital role in maintaining smooth operations. His expertise enables the team to focus on delivering consistent, high-quality care while the business functions seamlessly behind the scenes.

Administrator

Registered Manager

Working in residential care since 2019, Joe is passionate about supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes and build confidence in a safe, nurturing environment. With a strong sporting background, he takes an activity-led approach to care, encouraging engagement, teamwork, and personal growth, and holds himself to high standards both professionally and personally.

Ambitious and driven, Joe has been part of Gracewells since 2024, where he brings energy, dedication, and a commitment to helping young people thrive while supporting his team to deliver consistent, compassionate care every day.

Dotty

Registered Manager

Dotty holds an NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children & Young People and an NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare.

She began her career in schools as a and has since gained over seven years’ experience in residential care, supporting children with challenging behaviours, mental health needs, and significant trauma backgrounds.

As a Registered Manager, she achieved Outstanding outcomes with Ofsted and was shortlisted for Manager of the Year at the National Children and Young People's Awards in 2022.
