Therapeutic Services.
At Gracewells, every child receives care that is shaped around their individual needs, experiences, and strengths. We combine therapeutic expertise with nurturing, relationship-based care to help children feel safe, understood, and supported to thrive.
Our therapeutic approach is led by our in-house Psychotherapist and embedded throughout daily life in our homes. This means children benefit not only from specialist therapeutic support when needed, but also from a team of therapeutically trained professionals who provide consistent, trauma-informed care every day.
Our approach is built around three key elements:
Individual Therapy
Our in-house Psychotherapist provides tailored therapeutic support that is shaped around each child’s individual experiences, strengths, and needs.
Using evidence-informed approaches, therapy helps children make sense of their experiences, build emotional resilience, strengthen self-esteem, and develop healthier relationships.
Sessions are adapted to the young person’s age, communication style, and therapeutic goals, ensuring support is meaningful, engaging, and effective
Therapeutic Care Pathway
Every child follows a structured therapeutic pathway designed to understand their unique needs and measure their progress over time.
Through comprehensive assessments, including our ACE and Serbrix frameworks, we build a holistic picture of each young person’s emotional wellbeing, development, relationships, and strengths.
Regular reviews and outcome measurement enable us to adapt support, celebrate achievements, and demonstrate meaningful progress throughout their journey with us.
Rapport Framework
RAPPORT is Gracewells’ therapeutic practice model, embedding trauma-informed care into every aspect of daily life.
Through specialist training and reflective practice, our teams develop the knowledge and confidence to understand behaviour through a therapeutic lens, build trusting relationships, and provide consistent emotional support.
Rooted in Respect, Attachment, Playfulness, Presence, Observation, Reflection, and Therapeutic Thinking, RAPPORT ensures that healing opportunities are woven into everyday interactions, creating an environment where children feel safe, valued, and able to thrive.
